The United Nations has declared November the 10th as 'Malala Day' in honour of Pakistani teeenage rights activist Malala Yousafzai, who was shot in the head by the Taliban for campaigning for girls' education.

Two weeks after Malala was shot, another teen aged girl, Hina Khan and her family received threatening calls from Taliban militants.
