Taking the anology of the 'nasi lemak', former Perlis Mufti, Mohd Asri Zainul Abidin says, "It's like the nasi lemak. Malay Muslims will not buy nasi lemak that's been prepared by a non-Muslim. So how can they be confused if non Muslims use 'Allah' for their God?"
Asri says he is not against non-Muslims using 'Allah' for their God, but there must be guidelines, for example not to convert Malay-Muslims, not to put 'Allah' for the sleeping Buddha and so forth ...
