Voters who had travelled from other places to cast their ballots in the Manek Urai by-election in Kelantan received 'transport allowance' from a group of unidentified individuals.
This morning, scores of people were seen queuing up outside a wooden house located in the vicinity of the South Kelantan Development Authority (Kesedar) building, some 50 metres from the SK Peria polling centre.
They submitted their identity cards to 'officials' - who called out names from a list - stationed at the front door in return for the cash.
