Setiawan State Assemblyperson and Bruas MP, Ngeh Koo Ham stated that he has no confidence in both the CPO of Perak and Ipoh OCPD in handling the case on the Perak fiasco. Ngeh urges Home Minister, Syed Hamid Albar to send an independent team to Perak to investigate.

Ngeh was referring to the incident that took place on 3rd March, when police prevented Pakatan Rakyat assemblypersons, including deposed Perak menteri besar Mohd Nizar Jamaluddin, from entering the State Secretariat building in Ipoh to hold an emergency sitting of the State Assembly.
